The Road to Perfection

And where an organization or a science works uniformly in the direction that man is evil, it doesn’t change him. This is one of these horribly simple lessons. If we have an organization which believes that man is evil and is trying to change him, for the benefit of the society or something of the sort, man doesn’t change. The intention of the change plus “the evil nature of the brute” fixes him on that level.

Now, there’s man at that level of evil and revolt and unrest and laziness and stupidity. And according to all past psychometric testing when a society or organization seeks, from the standpoint that man is evil, to keep him from doing more harm all they seem to do is take great big spikes and nail him right there at that point.
